Worse Performance after 1.2
Iv got around 60hrs in. Iv been playing at native 1440p in HDR with BenchmarKings settings using fsr frame gen to get an average pf around 150fps. After this patch im down to 125 ish fps and without frame gen drops below 60.....

EDIT SOLVED: Game patch put a 60fps lock in my settings for some reason, if you have issues check this.

Dlss is broken and pnjs too, lag when approach of pnjs, fsfr 3.1 is better than dlss now.

Havnt compared Nvidea, but my AMD system has lost a good bit of performance. No lag on my end just lower frames. Everything is snappy.
Which DLSS do you use? I just found out that the DLSS resets to 3.7.20 with the patch, so I used DLSS swapper to switch it to 310.2.1 and it runs like a dream and looks great too.

But has your performance dipped since the last patch? fsr/dlss aside im not talking about that. Performance in GENERAL has dipped no matter the settings. Im on AMD so dlss isnt a factor here.
Not only with an Nvidia GPU the performance is horrible without Frame Generation. And with activated Frame Gen there is still a mouse input lag.

Never had lag (i did on linux however) its been smooth as far as responsiveness. Just suddenly a loss of like 20-25fps. I have high end hardware its just odd to have regressed so much suddenly.
Interesting. I had around 50-60 fps, but now around 60-70, with much smooth exp (3080Ti mobile).

Well this is kind of funny. Apparently after the patch it put a 60fps lock in my settings.....lmao so yea makes sense i was hitting 60 or 120 with frame gen. Disregard.

Why exactly do you need 150fps in a single player shooter? there is no multiplayer aspect yet

Oh wel, on my older system at my moms i got a 1080p 60Hz screen and Vsync on...
On my newer system i got the HDMI connected to a 7.2 Home Theater system, and it only puts trough 4K HDR 60Hz max, and again i got Vsync on, so no problem for both my AMD powered rigs.
I was gonna say my performance improved massively Im getting good performance now over 100 with none of the blurry crap I got before.

Because it looks a lot better than 60fps and i payed for good hardware including a 240hz OLED so i want to use it. You really dont see the benefit in high refresh just for casual gaming? Its like night and day fidelity. 60fps is like a slideshow to me.

I take full advantage of freesync so vsync is only on in driver for me, off in game and my system syncs from 40-240hz.

Yeah definitely has, lighting looks a lot different now as well. More shadows.
