For me it's the Slag Heap. Every time I travel there with a guide, I immediately run into the medical room thinking it's the to the tech.
i have the "two-persons-are-standing-in-the-doors"-bug... sometimes 5...
Skill issue
Aye, I still can't find my way around Rostok and on my latest visit I accidentally discovered my storage chest and a bed...

doesn't the game disable NPC collision when they're in doorways? I could always just walk through them.
It seems inconsistent on that. I've walked through dudes on stairways and doors in the Ward base at Chemical Plant, but for the longest time I couldn't enter or leave out the lower entrance to Shelter, on Wild Island, because Dingus McNoontide was standing halfway in the doorframe and was solid as a rock. Fortunately, that base has another entrance.

there is like 5 exits
I don't know what else to suggest other than learn the map and compass.

You could try to use the waypoint marker, to get around step by step, using right mouse button while on the map. Right mouse again shifts it, R key removes it.

Other than that....

get gud nub. :104:

Yep, same, Rostok doesn't structure doesn't make any f'ing sense.

Slag Heap used to confuse me too, but its fine now.

The level design in this game feels like the buildings were designed first, separate from any context, and nobody went back to customize frequently traversed areas, like Rostok, to make sure these prefab pieces were stuck together in a logical, easy to understand layout.
Like, the paths and doors in Rostok are where they are because that's where they ended up when the designers plunked down the premade buildings.
Rostok is an industrial complex. IT's not a civilian hub, with pedestrian design at the forefront of priority. The priority is the industrial processes involved and getting the various stages of production from building A to building B.

It is the same layout as the previous games, so <shrug> sorry noobs haha! :) You'll get used to it:104:

Those that played the original games will know the layout of rostok easily, its the bar map and wild territory map combined together so I had no issues with it
