Is Skiff under 5 ft tall?
He can't vault over some pretty short fences

I know you can't jump when over-loaded (red), but does weight actually affect climbing over stuff too? I was at yellow btw.

it seems like he is of short stature, the Ward guard in the Garbage even commented that he thought skiff was a taller person :)

Max weight is 80 IIRC. Tyello should be somewhere over 50? Or?
Can you jump a fence with a backpack at 50 kg?
Personally I think its not correct in the game due to its to easy to jump over a fence with that kind of weight in a backpack.

And he has hemophilia too. What a mess, that man is :steammocking:

For how much jumping Stalker 2 expects the player to do, the traversal in this game feels pretty bad. You can barely vault anything, really can't mantle at all, and there are all manner of places you can get stuck by falling into a small crevasse and have to mash jump and directional keys to get back out.
They could have done a lot more cool stuff with climbing and traversal if they'd made the jumping feel like modern first person game. There are hints of the developers wanting to include fun climbing puzzles, but they're held back by how clunky and limited the traversal mechanics are.

When skiff talks to anyone he presses up against their stomach and stares up at them like a small child, but every mutant that attacks him crouches down and runs between his legs like he’s a giant

This is just how most games work. The first person camera is actually not placed where the head should be, but a bit lower, around the upper torso area. The player character is actually the same height like every other human npc.

It doesn't really indicate height, but I enjoy seeing Skif's shadow on the ground while I'm running with a gun out. He apparently runs with his gun held against the side of his head and doesn't move his arms or torso.

There are cool jumping puzzles. But if if some are too interested of just finding flaws instead of puzzles...
Just did a trickjump puzzle in Quarrey much easier way than in YT tutorials...

You know this is a video game right?

I think they ran into problems with "too easily" getting to places they didn't want you to go, so as a shortcut they nerfed the ability to jump.

The more weight you carry the harder it will get to jump. The speed of walking also decrease with more weight.
