True. First Firmware/BIOS where appropriate (don't forget SSDs), then OS updates, then chipset drivers (mobo website then any updates on Intel/AMD website), then sound/video and anything else...:DukeRadioactive: :gasmask:

Lol good one, we with AMD cards will have to wait probably a month before we get drivers for this game.

im never updating my drivers
my computer will probably explode, killing me instantly
last time i updated my drivers my pc refused to recognize my second monitor and it took me an hour and a half to convince it to let me enter safe mode to uninstall it

The longer the better. They're stable at the moment!

Until people with an AMD card play the game. UE 5 is very unpredictable.

When I first launched "Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered", the game prompted me that it would probably run with the driver version I had installed, but that a newer game-ready driver was available. I'm hoping to see more games do such things (but for STALKER 2, I already updated Nvidia drivers last week).

you need to beat your computer into submission. it sounds like it doesn't respect you and is rebelling. you should establish dominance asap.

"where appropriate"

Keeping SSD firmware up to date can make your SSD live longer and perform more efficiently. I know this from firsthand experience. Newer generation processors benefit from a motherboard BIOS update sometimes (if it isn't outright necessary for compatibility).

None of both is even remotly necessary. just stop.

Actually it's a good idea to upgrade your psu drivers too if you haven't already, and most people forget about it
Erratic Nov 19, 2024 @ 3:38pm
Why should we "trust" you of all people?
