Never ordering from Game Legends again

So I Pre-ordered S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chernobyl Ultimate Edition on 5/12/22 from Game Legends told me 6/13/24 that the game would be at my house on date of release and not to worry. Then on 11/5/24 I was told it was set to ship out on 11/14/24. Lastly on 11/18/24 was just told it would ship out tomorrow. So as of looking at the tracking info it's going to be late now by a few days... I paid 352 USD for the one game I've Pre-ordered a physical collectors copy of since game disc's were a thing to be late good job Game legends never trusting a pre-order site again.

Just seen this thread on Reddit that gives me some hope -Amazon UK delay?

Hello Legion, I can also confirm that 7th December date, they sent me yesterday.

Like you I purchased a key, but I was very persistent with Amazon regarding compensation to buy another key, they sent me a gift card to spend on my next purchase

Odd that this Amazon exclusive, not available at launch day eh?

Be polite but firm you will get at least a token of acknowledgment that as you having to buy a key for a product in which you should have already been provided.

♥♥♥♥ happens I guess much worse things happening in the world, but should still be an appreciation of your patience.

What kind of big pile of crap is this???
I pre-ordered the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl Collector's Edition for (PC) and am still waiting for it, I don't even have a shipping confirmation. How can it be that you can't deliver a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl Collector's Edition for €199 on time (the separate €5 shipping is an absolute disgrace).

It's always shocking how developers treat buyers of physical games and collector's editions. They no longer place any value on synchronization, they don't deliver on time and sometimes games aren't playable when they're released.
That's proof that they give a F**K about us

well i do not belive him but like the other he didnt said that they dont have any in stock... so i pray ^^

Yeah it was the pc version and it arrived yesterday.

I bough the Ultimate Collectors edition and the game is a key that you redeem on Steam. Pretty much all collectors edition are like that nowadays. I've not had a actual disc with a collectors edition in years lol..

u know that u only buy a license on steam right? So if Steam should go broke any time all of your games are gone. If u purchase a disc u can always install it. so yeah thats a pretty good reason =)

That's easier said than done when most games on PC's don't ship on physical media at all, best bet is GOG releases as they are entirley DRM free but not every game is on there. STALKER 2 is entirely DRM free at least as far as I'm aware.
