I see there are artefacts, are these useful?

Point the right end of the gun (the one with the hole) towards enemy.
Pull the trigger.
Watch cheeki breeki fall down.

Conserve ammo. Go after artifacts whenever you can, they can be sold for a pretty coin and some of them have useful benefits. Dogs are dangerous AF. Go for headshots if possible.

Depending on your experience with fps games, I would advise to turn off the yellow paint used as ingame hint system and turn up difficulty for 1 shot can be lethal on both sides gameplay for max immersion.

Listen to your Geiger counter and anomaly detector beeper, watch your step around anomalies (look for any distortion in the air), acquire better detectors asap to find better artifacts.

Choose some stashes near traders to store your goods. The lighter you start your journeys, the more loot you can bring back.

Different types of ammo are more easily available depending on the location and the factions you meet there. When you go somewhere, choose which guns to bring accordingly, so you don't risk running dry.
