I got a new SSD, can i transfer files without losing everything?
So, i already have a 250GB SSD with only Windows installed, however, i can only get 120GB of free space god knows why. I already bought a 1TB SSD, can i transfer windows 10 to that SSD without losing everything? I'm worried about executables, file adress, etc.

Installing the new ssd as an aditional storage is always an option.

I don't have any SATA slots available, one SSD has Windows 10 on it, and my HD with 3TB full of data and important files.

Thats sucks. Another option would be to get an external hdd case for the old hdd and use the opened up sata slot for the new ssd. Otherwise im afraid you will have to fresh install windows.
Can you tell us what Motherboard you have? Want to take a look at what we're working with.

One option not mentioned: You can try cloning with something like Macrium, but there is a chance for error. You would have to expand the partition after you are done, too.
I see the motherboard has 4 SATA connections but comes with only 2 SATA cables. You could get an additional cable and just hook up your extra SSD (be sure to get one that supports 3GB/s speed). I dunno if SATA SSD's have the speed the game requires and your CPU is under the miniumum specs. The motherboards is 3000 series intel and minimum is 7000 series. I cannot promise you will have a good time running this game. I hope you can make it work ofcourse but I am doubtful.

Yeah, i got an i7 3770 (the best compatible to my motherboard), i think I'll run the game but on low-medium settings. I already beat Cyberpunk 2077 with this setup.

So i can expand the SATA cable?

Yes if you buy 2 SATA II cables you can add 2 more drives. You can see in the manual that it says 4 x SATA 3Gb/s connectors but like I said the manual states only 2 of those cables are included for those slots.

Do you want it as a second drive? Else checkout DiskGenius https://www.diskgenius.com/ and clone your system

Clone your disk ( 256GB ) to the new 1TB ... remove the old one 256GB and install the new 1TB (don't fromat the old one just as precaution ), obviously if you don't have free SATA port then remove the 3TB HDD and use its port while cloning 256>1TB.

Don't panic if you find your new 1TB SSD turned to 256GB after cloning ... the other ~675GB is still not formatted and not merged with the new 256GB partition, though you need a management software to merge it again, usually the same soft that you'll use to clone will have this function.

I used MiniTool Partition Wizard to clone tens of SSDs through my work as PC technician, it's free.
i wouldnt, i would do a fresh install of everything. trust me.
