Xbox PC Gamepass Says Release Date is 11/19/2024

Why does the Xbox Gamepass app say game releases on 11/19/2024 while GSC says 11/20/2024?

The items store page or the applications front page where they announce titles? Because I have run into issues with the actual title page listing the wrong release date while the front page is updated more often.

Still it does offer a pre load.

I have Game Pass for a couple more weeks cause I got it for the new COD and I just looked at Stalker 2 and I can Pre Load it now if I wanted to. I have it here on steam though so I'm not. Just throwing it out here for people that want to though.

If you look that's not actually a preload. If you look at the details of your "preload" you will see that the preload is taking up around 10 MB's.

Never trust Microsoft's title pages. The time zones they pick can be screwy. It's why people for CoD 6 changed their locations to New Zealand to grab it early because the store was showing NZ time for a bit. I would assume the front page the thing they update frequently would be the correct release time since even GSC posted the launch dates.

It definitely didnt preload, just reserved the space. Unless i downloaded 140gb in 15 seconds.

The "preload" is 10 MB. If you got to the details of the game after the "preload" you will see you downloaded about 10 MB.

I preloaded it on my Xbox already with gamepass. The preload has been active for quite a few days. It took 2.5 hours to download it.. it was something like 140 gigs

It has to be a bug because on the Game Pass section it says 11/20/24 but if you go to the actual STALKER 2 store on game pass it says 11/19/24 and Pre-Load has been available for at least 2 weeks because there's a Pre-Install button and I've already had it installed, I'm pretty sure it's when your PC can actually download the files themselves because the preload is only 10mb (This is on all PC game pass)

You don't have it installed. The "pre-load" is 10 MB. Right click on Stalker 2, got to manage, and then files and look at the file size.

I was allowed to preload in a dream that I just had and then I woke up and here I am. I am disappointed but I am not freaking out like so many others
