Guest star: Remember I have side mouse buttons is for games with a dedicated quick melee button, or other "Just mash brainlessly" function. I mostly only need the DPI change buttons on my mouse when the game's mouse sensitivity is all kinds of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up using a scope. Or playing and old game where it is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up in general.
I use a keypad to play which is nice for shooters with leaning mechanics as it has a 4-way control pad I can use instead of Q and E which are the traditional leaning keys. This way it's far easier to press several different keys simultaneously.
Because of this I change all the key-binds in the game pretty much. i use arrow keys for movement because of the thumb pad functionality of the Tartus.
There have been a few crappy games to come out recently with no support for fully changing keybinds but I feel confident that this game will be OK.
I always turn off hold to crouch as well. I prefer toggle every time.
