No preload on PC because the game is DRM free and they have no way to just limit files. The whole game unprotected would just be available, and we all know people would abuse this. So just wait patiently.

Yeah, I can tell you both as a player and as a developer myself, that this is BS and people should really stop regurgitating stuff that they have no idea what they're talking about. When you preload a game on steam, it comes down encrypted. For the love of god, people really should understand what the hell they are talking about before they start talking about it. The world would be a much better place

Everyone can easily fact check this themselves the next time a game allows you to preload. You can go in and view the files and see that they are all encrypted. Jesus Christ

preloads are encrypted, it being drm free has nothing to do with that

Wrong, I just tried it on PC Game Pass. It says it's 150GB but it's actually only about a 10MB starter file that they do for some reason.
