Can probably tweak the game for the gpu. Would wait to see how others do.

Those are almost exactly the min specs so you'll probably be able to run it at 1080p low settings 30fps (with upscaling). 8 GB RAM is really low though.

Minimum specs is 16 GB of ram. No way a game like this is going to run off 8, hell Windows is probably taking half of that also.

I would get another stick of RAM the minimum specs listed is 16 GB. You are looking at a mix of medium and low settings depending on how optimized this game will be who knows.

You could technically play the game on Geforce Now but they will drain you of money if they can.

Can wait for the game to launch. Find out which areas are demanding, find out which settings to tweak for lower performance hardware, then try the game in the more demanding area and refund the game if performance tanks. Some issues may take over an hour to appear so be weary. DDR4 ram is cheap can buy the game later at a discount and use the money you save to upgrade your ram. Also might not be a game ending issue since windows manages memory pretty well. Single channel (1 stick) is a noticeable decrease in performance.

Hear me out.

If your system is totally incapable of playing the game. An Xbox is a far cheaper option than trying to do a major upgrade to a pc. And stalker 2 will have full mouse and keyboard support on Xbox.

It's not an ideal solution. But it's a solution for a worst case scenario

Ddr4 16 gb (2x8 gb sticks) is like $30 usd depending where you are. After that their system will probably play stalker. Cpu, mainboard, etc... is fine. Might not even need to upgrade ram. 1660 super can play any game at custom settings 1080p 60fps. Fsr etc... might be needed but still works. . Wait and see what happens to others.
