Lets Hope IT will be Like u said
I'm convinced at this point 95% of people talking about pre-load don't actually have the game and are just coming into the forum to stir up BS.
wow u just summed up steam forums
The person has the game though...
And as others have stated, this decision was made because Stalker 2 has no Denuvo or DRM from their side, so it will basically be "pirateable" as soon as the download is made available to the general public.
Which means if they allowed pre-loading, the people who pirate the game will (probably) be able to play it before those who bought/pre-ordered it, which is obviously bad.
I mean who cares if stuff gets out a day or 2 early? I don't see the big deal its not lkike veilguard where it was full of unwanted and unneeded woke slop that they were trying to keep silent as they knew it'd kill the game (and it has). Granted, I have fast enough internet I could download the game way faster than it would decrypt on release from a preload anyway. I basically never preload games as its a waste of time for me, but people with crappy net connections are going to feel some pain waiting for this as its a big game.
A decryption shouldn't be a problem for a PC THAT CAN RUN STALKER 2 anyway
