Actually no I didnt watch, but I do play games first hand though. So you dont need anyone else to tell you what you already know.

Yep, its all marketing propaganda. Plus, games that are on PC are always held back because of console. So they arent made to look any better than what the consoles can perform at.
So when that Ultra setting is added. It makes absolutely no difference what so ever because the textures and lightning have already been made to conform to console standard.
Even SONY Games ported to PC. Its not going to look really that much better at all. Even with all these settings added to the PC port. The textures have already been made to run for console. Thats why when you watch these comparisons it barely makes any difference.
Thats why when people say, look. The PS5 Pro is so much more worth it than PC, because games are being catered to it. If a game was catered strictly to a 9850x3D, 64GB RAM, with a 4090. Well, you would def see a difference in performance and quality of that game when playing on console. It would be much worse off.
lol, yea, Linus was under the gun for awhile and I noticed these things too even before Steve finally called them out.
To be honest. If you call people out on not watching your videos and dont watch theres. Doesnt make for much of a discussion.
With LTT being as big as they are with people looking up to them for advice, and they do a very poor quality control with misleading numbers. its going to be an issue and they will take a hit on their credibility.
So that is why this has been brought up to your attention. If you rather say they can do no wrong, well, again. Doesnt bring in for much of a discussion. Especially when their credibility did take a hit and Linus had to take 2 weeks off or so to restructure company and retrain the staff. No videos were shown during this time.

Hold up, why try to change the subject for right to repair?
What does the right to repair act have to do with a game's graphic setting?
What does that video have to do with LTT credibility? Rossman just likes to be able to fix hardware and have the right to repair them. Totally different video and subject.
Apparently they could care less it seems.
However, I can confirm at least this video is legit. As Im sure we have all experienced this in almost every game.
