Ultimate Deluxe Weapons
Those are just skins for weapons not actual weapons right?

It says unique weapons, so they're either completely unique weapons or a unique variants of weapons. They're not skins.

They are actual weapons, that "await you in the Zone" i.e. you aren't given them at the start of the game, they are available for you to acquire "somehow" (we don't yet know how).

We don't know the stats on the bonus weapons, but it would be unusual for bonus weapons to be more than minor buffs on the stock weapon.

Hm, kinda sucks, they better be midgame and not lategame gear.

In terms of the older STALKER games, because they are not RPG's, the power-curve you are used to from RPG's doesn't exist. The player never gains HP for example, there is no skill tree, etc. There is equipment, and armor and artifacts might reduce the incoming damage, but you simply don't see the huge power-curve that you see in an RPG.

So what you are visualizing in terms of "midgame" and "lategame" gear probably isn't going to be remotely as big a spread as you are thinking.

Armor piercing rounds in any assault rifle, are going to be solid but not massively overpowered performers, probably across the entire game. Add a scope for range, add nighvision for night-ops, and you are cooking with gas.
Unique equipment that must be found in game. Presumably the pre order quest. Is attached to the pre order gear

Unique equipment is nothing new to the franchise. Some of the best treasures in the game were these Unique weapon variants found in hidden areas or given as quest rewards

Don't expect the weapon to be a game breaker though. It's a 9x39 weapon and ammunition for it is generally not associated with early game. Meaning you might get 80 shots with it and then be out of ammo for the next 8 hours of gameplay till you progress to the point it's available

Are you talking about the preorder bonus weapon? I would not be surprised if that weapon is chambered for SMG ammo, making the weapon nice-to-have earlier in the game but then falling-off by mid-game.

Sunrise suits even with tier 1 pockets already installed are 'baby first Not a hoodie', so it won't stop dogs or bullets if tangible instead of cosmetic.

But the deluxe and ultimate editions listing a Seva (top shelf enviro suit) and an EXO suit (top shelf "What the toughest human enemies wear" military suit). So if those are not just cosmetics I'm getting... wowie ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ zowie.

Again, they "await you in the Zone". You don't get them handed to you at the start. So the "where" in the Zone turns out the be pretty important - it's a good guess that acquiring the bonus SEVA can't be done until you have passed certain gates in gameplay, gates which are similar to the point at which you could acquire a non-bonus SEVA.

Yeah that is still a big deal considering sometimes there can be quests in the franchise that say "Bring a SEVA suit specifically or ♥♥♥♥ right off continuing the main plot"

So 'it isn't free! Because you have to find it first!' sure is a lot cheaper (in game, already paid out of it after all) than grinding the cash to buy one. Let alone my option of an exo suit as a possible freebie to get a head start on paying to upgrade it.

And if your argument is to double down on "But what if it is so well hidden nobody ever finds it!", that is also terrible because it means paying for ultimate was also a scam aside from the season pass and soundtrack.

I would rather have more stuff than less, sure. But downplaying just how good that stuff is would make me feel dishonest, again, if it is real items and not "You unlocked a skin for it!" after all before they updated the store pages again it was mostly talking about cosmetic skins.

Just to play Devil's Advocate: It could replace an existing quest-reward SEVA suit, with the bonus SEVA suit. Or it could add the quest-reward SEVA suit to the inventory of a trader who sells stock SEVA suits. In both cases, they would "await you in the Zone" - as a quest reward, or available for purchase.

On the Store page for the game, expand the "read more" under "pre-purchase offer" and it will show the details of the Deluxe and Ultimate editions, and lists the bonus items.
