(BUG) Keeping Drowned Gun

If I choose to keep Bug's "Drowned Gun" by Garbage, it will bug the compass and every single marker of every kind will disappear permanantly and the only thing is a blue bar that fill and points in Bugs direction even though there is no further dialogue with him and he refuses to talk. Really pisses me off because I want to keep the gun.

try reloading a save and grabbing the gun without talking to the guy, you don't need to talk to him at all. If you ignore him after he gives you the same dialog as if you tell him you're keeping the gun.
