STALKER 2 Edition Upgrades

I know the Dev's confirmed there will be upgrades for the STALKER edition upgrades soon, however does anyone know if they've mentioned giving a refund to those who've bought the standard edition previously, yet purchased the Deluxe/Ultimate edition for full price afterwards?

Every edition that you buy and play for more than 2 hours on steam is forever yours, NO REFUND after 2 hours. If you bought the Standard edition, and then decide that you want the Deluxe or Ultimate than you will need to purchase them at full price. The Developers have said that at some point down the line we will be able to "Upgrade" the Standard to either Deluxe or Ultimate. Hope this helps.

In terms of 'refund' I mean when they open the upgrade option, you'll likely just pay the difference between say the Standard (I think it's like $20) and Deluxe addition. If I buy the Deluxe edition now (at full price currently) do we imagine they'd honor it and refund back the split difference to each player who've already purchased the Standard, so we didn't just spend $130 basically buying the game twice. If that makes sense..

Sorta, I think I'm just impatient and want the stuff in the deluxe without waiting for it, but was iffy on if I should buy it for $70 or wait and know for a fact that I'll only pay the difference.. Just seems like that isn't possible rn
