Happiness for Everyone quest: Search Faust's body...but where the F is it?

Hey everyone,
been playing this awesome game since release and apart from two crashes to desktop, on around 50 hours my experience has been surprisingly bug free...until now, it seems.

I've just finished the "Happiness for Everyone" quest and defeated Faust...and now I'm tasked with searching Faust's body.
Problem is: His body isn't on the roof. I have a dozen dead clones of Faust lying there, but the OG didn't spawn, it seems.

Anyone run into this? I really don't want to do this fight again...

I've been trying for over an hour - reloading, kicking his butt, repeat - and NO Faust body.

after you have the conversation with Faust, it should bring you back to the roof and there should be just his body to search. all of this clones turn into monolith soldiers. its definitely bugged for you

I discovered that skipping the dialogue was causing his body to not appear on the rooftop. I get impatient with story sometimes. Sitting through the convo with Faust in the Subtle World, and not skipping anything worked for me! I'm back in action. Hope this helps other impatient Stalkers out there.

Ah, interesting that it might not load in if you skip the dialogue.
One issue I ran into with that is that I was loading into the roof directly into the fire of already spawned in Monolithians which meant I landed on the floor and died instantly!.

ive done it 3 times now with skips and without skips of the dialogue and he wont spawn. this fight sucks too on my older PC.

I have the same problem, no Faust on the roof :-(
Tried to save the game etc... playing on PC.

I just ran through this sequence for the third time and no Foust. I don't skip. Playing on PC. The fight was over the top. not fun.

I reloaded to the beginning of the fight when you first get on the roof. I killed as little of the fake Fausts as possible. I did skip the conversation and his body did spawn after. Seems like (in my case) too many extra bodies on the roof keept his body from spawning.

I had this same problem and it worked when I focused on killing the main Faust and ignoring as many of the clones as possible. You'll still have to take care of a few of them, but otherwise just go after Faust & the emitters.
