Is enemy spawn in game really that bad? YES!
Just want to cry it out loud here too, so the support and update team might do something for it..

Yes, there is a lot of bugs in this game. But enemy spawn is why i stopped playing this game completely! If you like to play game like i do, how do you say it.. Not rushing in the fights and running headless everywhere guns blazing, but you play like STALKER, game is pretty much unplayable and broken. Feeling being STALKER fades away immediately, when the enemies spawn in the places what you just cleared (so you know from that direction would not come attack while you are surveying your surroundings and your next direction) or directly behind you. You just cant STALK and be stealthy and wise in this game.

The game itself destroys that immediately. Unplayable in STALKER way, before fixed.

Just head canon it as ambushes. Or shelve it altogether, I guess.

It's not good, we all agree. But is it really that bad that you feel the game is destroyed? Seems a little dramatic. You can easily sprint away if you don't want to fight, despawn them and return to what you were doing. Or fight them and gain some loot and money

It's always funny to watch people defend unfinished products. But right now it probably isn't because of blind fanatics like you devs keep gettin away with such situations

Good one.

I agree.

When you roll up on a POI, stuff that is going to be present in the POI should already be there, and it should start out unaware of your approach. If you clear out the POI, it should stay empty, unless some group comes from some distance away and migrates towards it. Instead what we see are empty POI's, until the player takes some action which then triggers a spawn close by. For example, loot a stash - triggers a spawn. I've had cases where I open my PDA - triggers a spawn. And those spawns typically know about your presence.

Another example: The various rodent creatures. They mill about and attack you. If you jump up on a box so they can't reach you, they don't mill about - they all run and hide. As soon as you set foot back on the ground, somehow they know and out they come, resuming their attacks on you. This is cheese - it discourages players from acting smart, because it takes away the rewards for acting smart.

there's also circumstances where the enemies respawn multiple times within minutes several times, i've had groups of zombies, boars and dogs respawn 3 times within 10 mins or so, and repairs can be stupid expensive, i have to spend 8k on a weapon for 20% durability loss.

This is called a comparison. Ever heard of that?
Do you like paying full price for unfinished products?
Would you buy a car without windows and seats, and after purchase you find out that half of the dashboard is missing?(yep, another comparsion)
Would you like if you ask seller about all those missing stuff and he call you dramatic?
Are you okay with that?

Yea..the comparisons quite dramatic

It's an analogy...it's almost always a fallacy on steam boards because enemies spawning in is nothing like eating poop

But this is just being rational...you have every right to break rational to express your feelings...I understand. It just comes off as childish.

I also think the spawning is crap rn...but let's not talk about eating it...or even exaggerating how bad it is, because it really doesn't destroy the game...it just sucks in the game

Carve your own way..stop sounding like the other dozen or so industry haters on this board....a patch is coming

Let's get honest non hyperbolic critism here without the vitrol for the developers

This is arguably my biggest gripe with Stalker 2 compared to the old games. Spawning enemies around you makes the zone feel empty. No pack of mutants running around off in the distance or other Stalkers traveling from one area to the next. It's a huge step back in terms of immersion. Not to mention it can be kind of obnoxious combat wise too. I really hope they do something about it in future patches. Or at the very least, it's one of the first thing modders tackle when tools are released.
