S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl remake please!

Since S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl is such a huge success and the game is so much fun, I would love to have a remake of S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl.

Imo it will be just a matter of time before someone makes a mod like this where you can play the original storylines in the new open zone.

A lot of things already exist in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl, which should speed up a remake of the other parts and save a lot of costs. I would like to play the old parts too with such beautiful graphics and gameplay. I played them back then but have already forgotten everything.

I just beat stalker 1 for first time a little over a week ago. Does not need a remake. Very good game even today. It IS a bit janky in parts and graphics are a bit dated but nothing a few mods cant fix. Even playing it vanilla I enjoyed it a lot.

I suggest it as DLC of stalker 2 instead of remake, like chapter of time period

GSC understand how important full total conversion modding is for the future of STALKER 2. They are well aware the game's future lies in modder's hands. It's just a matter of time before the game is patched up to a state when they will be satisfied and ready to open up the game fully and release mod tools. It's all coming.

If you think the mods we are getting now are cool, just watch and see what happens when we can do more than just make minor edits to .cfg files. :) Just watch what happens when entire teams of people familiar with UE editing get together and truly get to work...

That's where the future of this game lies. GSC knows that, too. They also know the game isn't ready. Not yet.
