Hera side quest bug?

Hey guys,
I took a "mini" mission from Hera where I had to kill like 5 zombies or so and now whenever I turn it in I get money and a little dialogue about it but the quest does not finish. It still says return to Hera and now when I talk to him the dialogue option is gone. I also cant ask him for new missions due to this.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Well, I have 4 or 5 of such stuck side quests, just ignore them for now, the rewards are not worth it anyway.

Hope for a patch or mod that let's us cancel quests.

I think there this a fundamental problem in the quest system - game has serious issues to track quest objectives. Seems that doing things in an unintended way or out of order does not update related quests / breaks them.

The problem is that it is not only rewards but also faction reputation. You want to get main hubs friendly, ie. green icons on minimap, so you save on repairs. This process is a lot slower if you can not do those repeatable quests.

I had 2 of these quests bug in the same way, one was for Needle in STC Malachite and another was for barkeep in Rostok. I got Rostok to friendly just by killing enemies but I never managed to get STC Malachite/scientists to like me before I lost access to it due to main quest choices.

Correct, but I somehow always found enough quest givers (either in camp or while exploring) to get most green.

I have the same issue, submitted a ticket along with my issues with arena mission 4 stuck and map markers for 'get to shelter' to wait out emission warnings piling up on my map.

I had the same problem. I just reloaded my early save and finished the quest without any problem. Don't get any additional quests while you have a quest from a Barman!
