Em-1 and Gauss Rifles

They are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ asschecks taking two-three head shots to kill armored soldiers, but only taking 1 shot to kill you on veteran difficulty.

Playing on Stalker difficulty Gauss rifle one shot all exoskeleton suit humans up until the very end where until I encounter the buffed up version of exoskeleton user. Then they took 2 or 3.

Didn't use EM-1 but with headshots from my other upgraded rifles and using armor piercing bullets I dropped most soldiers in 1-3 shots.

Both are weak and useless weapons. You cant even upgrade them.

I was very disappointed when I realized Gauss Rifle can not be upgraded. Its stats look impressive on the stat sheet but I was definitely not impressed then I tested it. Its ammo is way too rare to use it with any frequency so I dropped it to my stash and never looked back.

Same goes for MK1 sniper rifle, ammo is rare and when it was available, I already had decent advanced AR (Decider, unique Fora-221 variant), which worked just fine.

Sniper rifles are in bad spot in Stalker 2, partly because they do not have much use and their performance is underwhelming.

I've been running the .308 sniper with an underslung shotgun and it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great.
