Its says it will have multiplayer
but what kind? is it gonna be pvp or coop? ( You guys can stop bashing me for wanting to play with friends now (: )

No pure coop has been indeed confirmed by the devs because the game has not been designed that way, but it still gives space for teamworking. Some people (including me) are wondering about a faction war on a big map, and there will probably be an unofficial mod to play coop, but again it's against the gameplay experience.

At first yes, but not that much actually. First, the main game is solo, this is what fans want of Stalker. Then if you think of coop as players against computer, it can be more immersive when it's pvp, it just needs the right settings. Glad I could answer though :)

Its not CoD. Stalker would lose its atmospheric nature with multplayer. You havent understood this game at all.

running around the zone with even just one other person would be awesome. the only problem would be people dying. I can see it being very annoying having to reload saves every time anyone died.
