Can I reinstall and keep my saves?

Hi Stalkers,

I bought the standard version pre-release and and loving this game and wished I'd bought the ultimate version now.

After contacting the dev's and asking is it possible to upgrade from my standard version to ultimate I was told there were discussions but no plans for this as yet.

I have just bought the ultimate version (good deal) and I'm planning to uninstall the standard version and then install the ultimate version.

Do you think I will be able to copy the saves somewhere and then uninstall / install the ultimate version and them copy my saves back in without and issues?. I have 100+ hrs in and really really don't want to lose my progress!.

Note- both are steam versions btw and I am worried having two games on the same account might cause issues?

what? you don't need to uninstall anything, editions aren't separate games
