new weapons/exo suit locations?

the last update kinda pissed me off because i was trying to find all the special weapons i've missed throughout my playthrough but now every location has changed, wanna know the new locations of SOFMOD, diamond exo suit and cavalier sniper rifle which could be found in duga before the update, its a single player game i dont even know why they just suddenly changed the locations of the weapons/armor lol, i'm in pripyat btw

From what I understand the SOFMOD is in a sewer-pipe stash in North Zaton, near the roadside store where some Freedom members hang out. I haven't been to the new location but saw a Reddit post with a screenshot of the new spot.

The Diamond Exo in Yaniv was moved into the Spark bunker, so no way to reach it until during the late-game main mission that involves the bunker.

Cavalier I have no idea where they moved it.

They did this because a lot new player could not understand that More high teck gear= more cost to repair, they protect them against themself.

The developer stash-location changes were pointless, anyway, because you can still get late-game equipment if you spend time to do it. In my current Veteran playthrough I stopped doing the main missions after leaving Lesser Zone, traveled to five regions, did side-quests to get over 70,000 coupons, and also picked up various late-game weapons at protected stashes.

Now I have a SSP-100I Survey suit with the protection upgraded to over 4 bars, which is about as much protection as starting Exo-skeleton. And I also have a Zubr-19 and a RAM-2 Shotgun, which have penetration 2.7 to 3 for each, and the Rhino handgun. And I haven't even started the next main mission to explore Diode's lab, yet.

So you play the game like any stalker game?

i have SSP-100I as well, max upgraded, is diamond exo still gonna be better than what i already have? this is my first stalker game and i'm kinda curious how op the exo suits are

very thy inhance your carrying and make you more tanky and all so give you 4 protected artefact canisters
