Performance destroyed after installing Nvidia driver 576.15
Running a 5090, after installing the new drivers Stalker is a slideshow. It seems framegen is completely borked. Anyone else having issues?

Make a rollback to older driver and check if it is working better
No such thing with 4080.

Well at least my other games are fine. Something is definitely screwed up with Stalker though. Framgen is all over the place with huge dips. Oh well.... back to troubleshooting. Same old story. Constant technical issues plaguing an otherwise amazing game.

Still sounds like an Nvidia problem. They can't catch a break at the moment. They're like what AMD used to be.

There's a reason that driver isn't available on the Nvidia driver page. It is still being tested, and is only available to fix an issue or two with the previous driver.

576.15 isn't causing issues like you describe with my 5080.

Look at any other game forum, ue5 or not- they all have problems on nvidia.
Meanwhile all AMD system and had like 5 crashes in 2y due to "driver issues"(5 crashes spread over ~1000h isnt much imo)

Just wanted to report I resolved the issue - it was my second monitor. I play on an OLED TV via HDMI, and turning off my second display connected via DP fixed the issue completely.

Not a perfect situation but I can get back to the game, which I have 100 hours in and absolutely love. Happy hunting stalkers!
