Guess I'll give it some more time. I don't want to play it if it's going to run bad constantly.
I think it's an Nvidia driver issue.
It's a Nvidia low latency thing. I was having driver crashes every 1.5 hours.
Switched it off, no more crashes.
I'd tried different drivers (all uninstalled with DDU), reinstalling the game, running everything stock etc, nothing helped.
Then I turned the setting off and everything ran flawlessly.
So are posts like this....
Perhaps you could attempt to be more specific, or at least give the tiniest of clues what on earth you are talking about? System specs?
I haven't had a crash since the last patch.
So many of these issues could purely be down to Nvidia drivers (which are currently seen as a problem from checking the net) yet a lot of people seem to blame the game Devs for it.
OC/EXPO can always cause crashes even after going 100% though of hours/night long stability test.
Nvidia has been reported being unstable, especially latest drivers. And even by tech sites who never ever confirm nvidia doing anything wrong.
If the game hangs and u have to force it to close(ctrl alt shift) then its memory leak. Have experiences it also couple of times this run. But in Veteran run ive hoarded a lot of junk also. Might help if u clean stash out a bit.
Maybe its 5.56 ammo which causes memory leaks?
Or the side activity after u kill thw dude with the lamp..
Yeah, it's always a good idea to bring stuff back to stock, roll back drivers to stable etc.
Just keep in mind that might also not be your issue. If it doesn't fix it, it doesn't fix it.
After I found out what setting was crashing I finally got a chance to overclock the snot out of everything. The game can work great with overclocks and even new nVidia drivers.
