Unbelievable that the constant crashes have not been fixed
Super annoying

No chance. If Nvidia was screwing up then every other game would be having issues. This is just issues with this game, as initially the case. It’s fine they just need to fix it.

Those crashes have been there for months. Nice try shifting the blame.
Watch the video... nvidia driver problem been there since December, I think it is said, so YES, months. And YES it is affecting other games, and those devs say to roll back drivers...

Maybe you don't know how to properly roll back a GPU driver?
Maybe that's why you are in denial???

I was just about to come here and ask has the performance improved.

Guess I'll give it some more time. I don't want to play it if it's going to run bad constantly.

Your mileage may vary though. Some like OP have issues and then some like myself have never had any.
There were quite a few before the 2nd major patch. Now I only experience one on a rare occasion. Are they annoying? Yes, but they don't stop me from thoroughly enjoying the game.
Did only have a crash once in the full time i spend with the game. how many do you have?
Its gonna get a lot worse before it gets any better. True story.
Turned off Reflex and haven't had a single crash since.
I think it's an Nvidia driver issue.

Reflex?

It's a Nvidia low latency thing. I was having driver crashes every 1.5 hours.
Switched it off, no more crashes.

I'd tried different drivers (all uninstalled with DDU), reinstalling the game, running everything stock etc, nothing helped.
Then I turned the setting off and everything ran flawlessly.

So are posts like this....

Perhaps you could attempt to be more specific, or at least give the tiniest of clues what on earth you are talking about? System specs?

I haven't had a crash since the last patch.

I think it's an Nvidia driver issue.

So many of these issues could purely be down to Nvidia drivers (which are currently seen as a problem from checking the net) yet a lot of people seem to blame the game Devs for it.
if you are overclocking your gpu in any way try going back to stock. I remember early on I was crashing every 15 minutes and when I did that my game hasnt crashed since.

Thats related to the infamous Intel 13/14th gen also yes.
OC/EXPO can always cause crashes even after going 100% though of hours/night long stability test.
Nvidia has been reported being unstable, especially latest drivers. And even by tech sites who never ever confirm nvidia doing anything wrong.

If the game hangs and u have to force it to close(ctrl alt shift) then its memory leak. Have experiences it also couple of times this run. But in Veteran run ive hoarded a lot of junk also. Might help if u clean stash out a bit.
Maybe its 5.56 ammo which causes memory leaks?
Or the side activity after u kill thw dude with the lamp..

Yeah, it's always a good idea to bring stuff back to stock, roll back drivers to stable etc.
Just keep in mind that might also not be your issue. If it doesn't fix it, it doesn't fix it.

After I found out what setting was crashing I finally got a chance to overclock the snot out of everything. The game can work great with overclocks and even new nVidia drivers.
