What is the difference with anomaly containers? (Specifically Wretched and Diffusion)
Hi All,

Sorry if this was posted elsewhere or I need to post somewhere specific - yet couldn’t find a thing on this topic anywhere. Some armor in the game has different types of containers obviously there is “Additional Anomaly Container” and “Lead Lined Container” which both make sense to me. Yet there are two additional ones that I having trouble making out exactly what they do (other than being potentially additional “Lead Lined Containers” with flavor text as a way to wait and unlock additional slots through thumb drives). There are “Wretched Containers” and “Diffusion Containers” - anyone have any idea what either of these do differently at all? Or are they just fancy LLC’s - I tried playing around with the containers and couldn’t find anything out.

Nothing. It's just move dev fakery to try and make the game appear more complex than it is.

diffusion and wrenched are required to fully upgrade diamond exo that is all. fancy names.
That’s what I was kind of figuring was the case for these - just “fun flavor text”. Maybe they had something planned on these that they scrapped or never added in for whatever reason. In any case - thanks everyone for your posts, can’t thank you all enough, was hard to find any info on this!
Some final upgrade branches can both be applied at once. For example, on the Diamond Exoskeleton, you can upgrade it have have both the final container upgrades as they are both compatible. This means, I presume, that you can have more artefacts with higher radiation penalties without suffering said penalties.
