Controller input lag
There is an issue with controller input lag. It seems, based on reddit and various other searches I'm not the only one seeing this. My KBAM works fine, so it's not a computing issue. Has anyone else seen this?

The only solution that worked for me with mouse lag was to lock the frames at 30fps in the game options, turn on vsync, and use FG to get the game back up to 60fps to match the vsync. Don't know why this helped... but it made a huge improvement with the input lag for the mouse. And I see no difference in performance drop using the frame lock at 30fps.
The game starts fine for me, then after some play time, particularly when there's some action, the controller input lags massively, and stays that way. Has anyone else seen similar?

I have 32gb ram and a 3060ti graphics card...

Ive had this problem to which i removed my battery and replaced it but only worked again for about 10 minutes. Ive also noticed it does it on other games after i played STALKER 2 which seems confussing why its doing that
Turning low latency mode to ultra, and vsync on in Nvidia control panel appears to have worked wonders for me.

That worked for about 10 minutes. It's still causing lag on other games. Getting fed up of getting games lately which are full of bugs. I think I'll just uninstall STALKER 2 and see if it makes the other games to go back to normal and maybe reinstall in 6 months time.

I thought I would try my wired controller instead of my wireless one and its been fine all evening. Its not missed a beat at all

Which controller are you using and is it native to the game? It looks like only XBox controllers are supported. If you're using a non-native controller with a game on Steam, Steam will emulate the controller as an XBox controller. If not configured it can cause weird issues. One in particular is that the controller will combat the mouse/keyboard and vice versa. If your keyboard or mouse is inputting during the controller use you could get a laggy response. For example: if your mouse is moving a little bit from vibration it will cause intermittent input lag with the controller.

I was using wireless Xbox controller but now I'm using PowerA XBX Spectra wired controller. I'll use the wired one again this evening to see if anything happens
