Sided with the Ward while thinking I'm being smart.
On Dangerous Liaisons, did no one on the writing team anticipate players trying to defuse the situation with the Colonel while having other motives? :/

At first I thought it'd be fine, until Skif started being... really antagonistic toward anyone other than the Ward.

Oh well, multiple endings it is.

You could load a save from before that decision, but I'm betting you didn't make one. That was your last chance to get another ending. The Ward ending isn't bad though and you avoid the hardest boss fight.

Skif's motivation is weird in any route.
The spark one - "oh no, these psi-emitters are bad and wrong, i've seen that they do to people", drops them on the floor and breaks them. THE VERY NEXT MISSION - proceeds to use one anyway, even on the larger scale.

Made so many saves the game told me to stop

You can overwright/delete the saves you dont need.
