About Mods...
So, after reading in many Threads here the suggestion to use mods for anything that is not working or balanced right, I decided to try that myself.
My only concern right now while playing are the repair costs, which I don't want to start (another) discussion about here. For various reasons I find them a little too high, so I went to Nexus and searched the mods there.
I only found one Mod that directly reduces repair costs, but according to the comments and the last update date, it is not working well with version 1.1.3. This seems to be a case for a lot of other mods as well.
Since I did not find anything else for repair costs, I looked for alternatives and found two other mods: reduce carry weight of consumables and mutant loot. Those two would allow me to get more coupons in and the description and comments said they would be good for 1.1.3.
Next I created a backup of all my savegames and then installed those two mods. After loading my most recent game, I could confirm that the weight reduction was working. Somehow my armor chest piece was missing though (I very recently found a new and good one) and by loading all my other saves I found that it was still there in another save, 6 minutes older. Strange...but OK..I only went back to the garbage dump from the last mission in those minutes, so no problem....just after starting the way back, my game completely froze though and then crashed (I strangely had no single crash ever before).
I removed the mods, restored my savegame backups only to find that the game now crashed at startup while loading shaders (which I also never had before).
So that was my experience with trying mods to fix some issues....I will try to verify the game files and maybe re-install it if that does not help, but it seems I will have to wait for some patches before I can continue playing this :/

Without mods same error. Randomly... It's after 1.1.3....

You can clear your Direct X cache. That helped for me.

- Open start menu, search for Disk Cleanup and open it.
- Choose your operating disk.
- There should be an option for Direct X cache. Select it and click OK.

Or remove folder Stalker2\Content\Paks and verify the game files.

mutant loot in general can be very buggy and u have to be careful with removing it. maybe use a safe before installing mutant loot.

deleting this shadercaches is also a fix for some
Steam\steamapps\shadercache\1643320

I really can recommend this "modpack" which u can drag and drop the modules u like to have. Its not too much but I find all things are good balanced only maybe the "mutant" module is a bit too big of a health nerf

Thanks for the Hints, I got the game running again now, albeit without shader warmup still, so I will have to see about the performance now.

Regarding mods:
I checked out that modpack and it sounded good at first, but after reading through all the infos and looking at all the extra patches:
This is exactly what is bothering me with mods right now....Installing this modpack would require me to install a whole slew of other mods, localizations and patches, which I do not need or want. Sure, I could just delete the Mutant module, so I don't need the mutant loot mod again...but I want those economy changes (or are the repair cost changes included in the core module?) and for that I need a whole lot of other stuff to work according to the description. That's a lot of hassle to get the stuff installed correctly and then I cannot even be sure that it all even works according to the comments(It seems some modules just don't work).
Did you install the whole mod and it works stable, or do you just use the basic version, without all the extra stuff (mutants, economy, etc). If the latter, what is included there?
I did not find a good description about the mod and which modules contain exactly what changes....

Well it seems the crash I had/have is not related to the mods it seems, probably something new from 1.1.3 then. If I stay in the repair/upgrade screen from Diode too long my RAM maxes out and the game crashes...happens without mods as well.
Will try the repair mod then and maybe the weight mod again, Omega is still too much for me....
