Noontide seems savable.
Yes it is a massive plot point that ZA MONOLITH is back, but throughout the story it seems as if the player was just out of reach of saving noontide, I believe its cut content, we will know for sure in the coming years when modders keep digging.

Saving noontide will flip entire plot upside down. I don't think this is cut content

It flips act 2 and part of act 3 around, the main plot revolves around Alpha, ward, spark.

Monolith attacking everyone could easily be ward.

yeah turns out Ward are the good guys afterall. They sounded bad at the start but then turns on they want to control the zone and keep order. The others want to destroy it, at least thats how the game portrays it with the lack of story info I could gather, also clues tell me strelok is an agent and can't be trusted.

that has to be true cause when I did the battle at malacite base, scar said ward was attacking but monolith are what actually surrrounded it

yeah there has to be a cut route where we have noontide redeeming themselves by saving all these outposts from ward attacks, theres so many subtle notes in the game that hint twards this possibility and MORE that we havent discovered.

At the end of CoP it is said he went on to found it. This game doesn't seem to remember that established bit of lore and sircaa is just your average corporation mostly comprised of mainland entrepeneurs and their private army bullying people around (for profit); They're not the good guys.

Strelok was part of SIRCAA when it was founded, one of their most important agents and advisors in the beginning. He left once the Organization started to get taken over by the same people who were responsible for the Noosphere-Research in the first place.

They are not a Monolith of an organization. WARD are mostly dedicated soldiers to the core. The Scientists are devoted, ambitious but that way, dangerous. The Board are completely fine using and sacrificing all of them to gain control over the anamalous energy in the Zone.

Both to make a profit but also to stop it from expanding uncontrollably.

Thats at least what info you can get without even finishing the game...
