'Combatant' unique assault rifle
I read on a guide that if you side with the Ward colonel at the Slag Heap and give him the monolith PDA he rewards you with a unique AKM-74S which has better stats than normal
I sided with him and didnt get the gun is it bugged?

think you have to side with spark at the village and then show the pdf to him to get it

I did it on my first playthrough and I still didnt get the gun later

Did you pick it up from the table ?
It doesnt just 'pop' into your inventory

"Siding" with Colonel by showing him the PDA, gun is on the table broken at 0%.

In my current playthrough, the Combatant fell off the table. I had to crouch and look under the table to find it.

Sided with spark at the village, then showed him the PDA. Didn't get the gun. He gave it to me my first playthrough when I did that, but this time he just gave me the star.

That was a good weapon to use as a modded sniper that until I got a gp37 and modded it and put an acog on it to use as sniper.

I got it, but I heard a lot of people had issues with it being buggy or no-clipping jank stopping them from getting it. You are not missing anything except collectothon urges.

You mean, for just style points right?

Because so far as the in game stats seem to show. It has the same stats as usual but just costs a little more to repair. And just reaching the garbage means reaching a place with a stash for an X4 scope that works on a normal AKM.

Compare, the deceiver Fora rifle. At least THAT has a tiny microscopic bit of damage bar. Shame that also starts with zero durability at which point you might as well buy a 5.56 GP37 if you hadn't looted one by then, instead of polishing up the most forgettable mid tier 5.45
