This game is broken - Shader Fail and constant crashing

I wish you had to post your system config once you start a post about hardware/software crashes.
I know that a lot of stalker gamma/anomaly players are on potatoe hardware, and they probably try to run the game with it…

Im literally running a 7800 x 3d build genius.

Also, its now evident that it is not a hardware specific issue. Dozens, if not hundreds, are having the same crashes, regardless of hardware, and actual performance in game is just fine. I dont crash or have these issues in literally any other game as well.

I also do tech support for a living, so it's not like I am unaware of these processes/how to troubleshoot computer issues, but thanks.

so...the very 1st time I launched since the most recent update, this happened to me. Started the shaders, it stopped, crashed and then gave me this error in somewhat broken english as well. Couldnt even close it other then through task manager. but after that its been actually all good on my end. I was wondering what that was all about....

and no, i dont have a nasa or rich boy pc either. Its fairly average, if not on the lower end of the requirements to run this game, but it still runs fairly well upscaling to 1440p on medium settings, 40s-60s fps

yes it is absolutely not your hardware. there are those witha 4080 build 7800 x3d having these same issues.

well I mean, you dont exactly have to be a d!ck about it....nobody could have possibly known your system specs, or "what you do for a living" (as if anyone actually cares) if you, you know...dont say it in your post...

what I mean is it happened to me once and thats it. I havent had any continuing issues or crashing, and im not on what you would consider a "high end" rig either. So, I do agree its an issue with the game, not hardware. However, like all the issues this game has had, it seems very random and inconsistent as to who actually runs into these issues. ever since this game has come out i have seen so many people having so many random issues on a wide variety of hardware. Some having issues on overkill pcs while others not on systems that dont meet or are just at minimum requirements. I feel like theres more rushed spaghetti code running on here then there is on a bethesda game.

The most problems I seen is shaders taking 5 minutes on the Steam Deck. On my high end PC it takes 1 minutes.

I have a rtx 3080 and a AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3D performance is good averaging around 80-100 fps with medium settings. Crashing is another thing though, the game does it constantly even sometimes loosing save data. This game is very broken, I love it and through all of this I've still played around 10 hours. It's honestly really fun when I can play it. But it crashes at every second it gets.

Go into your Bios, make sure CPU Ratio Mode is NOT Per CCX but on All Core's
That stopped Crashing for me.
Also make sure your Memory is running at the correct speed (hope you got AMD Expo) profile, and check that Above 4G Encoding and Resizable Bar are Enabled/Auto.
Sometimes its better NOT to Async CPU/PCIe clock.

Ryzen 5600X 32g@3200RAM 3070ti ONLY quest I have are in the Rostok area and inside base I crash B4 I can find my quest giver / outside I can play for 10-20 min B4 freeze-up

and if I try to use my Stash in Rostok GL freezes in 10-20 seconds using 100% my RAM

I have a pretty robust rig. I can play every other game I have on Epic/Ultra...
I've stopped playing S2 because of this shader crashing, game crashing issue.
it's too frustrating when I have to give it a three-finger salute (ctrl/alt/del) and restart everytime S2 crashes, which is too much for me.
I'll keep it installed in hopes the devs fix it someday
