Rostok freezing solved???

To the people who're playing the game everyday did they fix the RAM usage 100% issues and freezing/crashing in Rostok along with low fps and horrendous performance? Talking about the latest 1.1.3 patch.

It actually got worse with the 1.1.3 patch. I went from it being semi rare for me, to loading my rostock save into an inventory softlock at "99% of 64 gigs of ram in use" freeze, twice. wow what a great start to a patch....

That's a shame really :( was really looking forward to completing the game now that i'm fully done with Indiana Jones. Hopefully they give us a decent patch next year, lots of issues still needs to be fixed and the optimization needs a complete overhaul. Guess will wait for a bigger update. Thx for updating mate.

Freezes always when talk to vendors, but now i can use personal stash without freeze 🤭.

Yeah freezing in Rostock, especially at vendor seems 100% freeze (Eugene).
So annoying. Especially after you read my next post....

No its not fixed yet, but what I have done to help it be a little more stable is Turn off Cuda Sysmem Fallback Policy and Turn Off Shader cache, both in Nvidia control panel

no there are still major annoying bugs. Rostok is the worst offender on the list with constant freezing, using up all your RAM in a memory leak and crashing when sorting inventory, sorting bag, checking shop...etc.

I have that found that I can only spend like 5 mins, 10 if lucky in Rostok, (in the area around the vendors and stash). Get in and sell quick. Then I have to get out or risk locking up. I haven't unlocked the 4th arena mission yet, but I'm wondering how that's gonna play out. I'm hopeful I have enough map exploration left until the team finally is able to fix this one.

well keep in mind that major fixes too will sometimes require a new playthrough, old gamesaves will not see the new fixes cause they are already corrupted

Agreed. The game just froze on me two times in the past 15 minutes in Rostok, while working with the Technician and switching out my inventory. But prior to the first freeze I played for over 90 minutes on a mission in Red Forest with no freezes.

I checked my task manager and the Stalker 2 EXE was chewing up all available memory. I already submitted a technical support request to GSC this past weekend.

Hopefully they will address this memory leak at Rostok in the next patch in the New Year.

Is this really a thing? i don't have much of a problem with starting over but i'd love to know if it works, because for me the zalissya quest got fixed so idk.

I have a problem with this being so far into the game. That means hours wasted replaying everything.
