Is Wishful Thinking still soft-locked on the PC version?

The patch notes show it as one of the fixes but it remains broken on the Xbox. What's the situation on PC?

I've done one full playthrough to end so far, so I didn't have any issues with it (PC)

It was definitely a documented bug on the PC but they listed it as fixed in the latest patch notes. Frustratingly, still stuck on the Xbox.

Yes. Dalin did not show. Had to console command it.

I will not spoil it; I get a different iteration of that bug (Dalin does show, someone else does not). Nothing works. Tried loading an earlier save etc. No commands on consoles though :(

80% of other discussions had the Colonel not showing up, my situation seemed to be in the minority. Someone here did say that loading a save back to before they discuss sending you to the wish granter resolved it.

Bingo. That's what happened to me. I went back further - nothing helps. It's game over for me, I am afraid. Shocking, really. I have a lot of patience for bugs in PC games. But to have a soft-lock, game killing bug (relatively) early in the main mission path in Consoles? Well, that tells you something.

I ran into another softlock before leaving SIRCAA. Another console command but it's even more buggy. I may just have to wait for a patch.

no, they dont (I used many times), also mods dont too

For me it's helped to load right befor SIRCAA and pass it again (including optional quest to wait untill end of meeting (you need to run after elevator to the Dalin before he finish speaking))

Update: Going *way* back, before SIRCAA and slogging through it again worked. Ugh. My xbox game is still broken (radiation damage has disappeared and "multi-triggered" spawning, right on my ass, is fully in evidence, but at least it is no longer stuck). I had an observation which everyone should treat with a fistful of salt, but it may be useful for anyone approaching SIRCAA to avoid this really annoying soft-lock. With the mildest of spoilers:

- Once you arrive at SIRCAA, someone tells you that you should get a night's rest and you take an elevator ride up. A (clearly scripted) emission also triggers somewhere around that point. In the lead up to the mission that previously stalled, that elevator ride took *forever*, with the emission in the background. I thought that the game had crashed at the time. In the "repeat" that did not end in a soft-lock, that elevator ride was quick.

Ah well, the joys...

You need to go (way) back before you approach SIRCAA. Hopefully you still have a savegame there. The game remains a buggy mess, even now. At the moment, all my traders are broken and I can generate infinite money.

Then you must have sold armor that had the _ names on them, cause thats how that bug happens, go back to a save before you sold that armor if you have one
