is the ultimate edition worth it?
Trying to decide if I should get the base game, or upgrade to the ultimate edition for the season pass. What is everyone's thoughts on the season pass? I have never played the stalker games, but it has a fallout vibe to it so wanted to get the game.

So it is, and it isn't, here's the thing IF they fix everything by the time DLCs and stuff roll around it might be worth it, however you can just upgrade to it then, like there's no real reason to get it yet, because right now the game is a mess.

Go with Deluxe. You want the campfire tales and jokes. The gear is unique and pretty good but you'll have to chase it down across the map.

I actually got the gear, and it's not great, like its good, but honestly it's not much better than the gear you get anyway, so it's like, I wish it was worth it, but honestly even without it, you woulda still got all that gear by the time you chase it down without the word "monolith" in front of it.

I bought the base game a few days ago, I've spent longer waiting for patches to download and install along with failed shader compilations than I have actually playing the game.

Getting pretty fed up to be honest.

Its quite good once you can actually get to play the game, though I find the NPC interactions stale, robotic and somewhat featureless. The only thing that keeps it interesting is the fight scenarios, though that can get a bit tiring to be honest.

Part of the deal are the dlc/s.
Hard to guess their value already.

If you never played a Stalker game before try Stalker Anomaly (its free, basicly a mod on top of the original game) and see if you like it, if you like it than buy Stalker 2 (ultimate)

Sorry, but I would say no edition is worth the money as long as there are too many bugs.

Nope. If I had known they would spread out all of the items I would have not bought it.
GSC basically scammed us.
No proper A-LIfe.
No multiplayer
Bad questing
Poor economy
Too much junk loot
Poor optimisation
Too much running/walking
They ruined a lot of the lore from the original series.

If I were a dev and I released a game right now, I don't care if it was done and polished to gold, I would still release it with the words "early access." Because even if your game runs perfectly, someone will find something that doesn't work with their hardware, if you release it without EA they will complain and get a refund for it. So this should be a general warning to all devs, release your games in EA.

So from what I'm hearing the game is still buggy as hell. Is the base game worth it as it is? I do have a decent computer 3070 GPU with 32 ram ryzen 7
should I get Deluxe edition? I have been enjoying this game since I started to play it

Like another said in a different thread, Stalker pfp almost always indicates a shill. No bugs so far halfway through the main missions? That's a flat out lie. People like you keep pushing the "it's your hardware, bro" BS. Your comment really just seems like a dev alt trying to promote the game.

Aaand there's the huge red flag. Nobody accused you of lying, yet you feel the need to state that you're not? Hmm... 🤔

Edit: Already responding to argue are we?

Other storefronts exist. If that's your only bad faith "argument", you have no valid point.
