also duga has snipers too, they blow your brains out.
This is just horrible game design, like the "Quick Access consumable" if you like this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you could suck game director's ♥♥♥♥ at this point.
Devs watched Anomaly GAMMA and EFP, took notes and burned them apparently.
The ankle touching water complaint, shows an issue with weight management.
Weight and Stamina are major factors on that one. The difference between heavier weight and drained stamina is a night and day difference, between low weight and a full stamina bar.
If your weight is under 40kg, and your stamina is up, going thru waist deep water is little issue, but if your up around 70-80kg and your stamina is drained significantly due to that then your going to sink like a stone and get stuck in even the smallest bit of water.
I refer to this as the Mud Factor, as this is the logical explanation. The more you weigh, the deeper your going to sink into any mud at the bottom of any body of water. Your not getting stuck in the water, cause water has this great resistance, Your getting stuck in the mud underneath the water, due to carrying a significant weight load. As for the stamina, well if your getting stuck in mud, that explains the need to use more stamina to unstick oneself.
That could be it, but it could also be bad coding or just the way they intended it to be. Either way that's something I want to change, via mod or update idc.
Once the technical issues are fixed (fingers crossed), this will be the game I've been waiting for for years.
Yes, in most places it will warn you about how you shouldn't enter a place. That is if you come from the right direction, if not its "bang" and reload.
Wasn't there an invisible MG nest in cordon on one of the earlier version that just does heavy dmg to drive you off?
Deadly raduation makes more sense, but still isn't great due to beeing able to bring anti radiation artifacts that won't work on it.
In earlier games there were spots so hot you'd die in seconds. Same this time around. I just found a stash on the Concrete Factory Map that was so hot, even with 2 Liquid Rocks and another medium level Radiation artifact in pouches, I was dead in under 2 seconds. This was a stash, mind you. But after dying 2xs, I looked at the situation more carefully, found how I could climb up beside the stash getting way less RADs and grabbed the loot.
Insta-death has always been one of the things rather compelling about the series, imo.
Mod packs, and addons - well just think about that a minute. Those have always about turning the games into something the players would rather have. But they're not official and while you might think they're "far above the game" would they even have a point if there wasn't a game to apply them to?
