Inventory Item Dragging Bug
Anyone else have a bug where if you drag an inventory item to an equipment slot it hard-locks the game requiring termination via task manager? It has only been happening since the last patch. I'm not sure if it's only in the loot/stash screen, but that's where it always seems to happen. I would guess it's always a problem, but you would be most likely to use drag/drop in the loot/stash as double-click is used to transfer an item to the other inventory rather than equip.

Reproduction steps:
- Open your stash
- Drag an item from the player's inventory over the top of another item as though to swap
- Game freezes before you let go of the mouse, as soon as it passes over a slot which would be a valid slot for the dragged item. Only seems to trigger if replacing an item, not dragging to an empty slot

Workaround:
- Clear the slot first, then drag item into it or...
- Close the loot/stash window and double-click to equip via the standard inventory screen

I guess something to do with the comparison function given the way it triggers?

Honestly, I've been genuinely having a great time with Stalker 2. This has been the only show-stopper I've personally found in 90 hours so far. Anyone else run into the same thing?

EDIT: Seems to mostly happen with artefacts, sometimes with guns and never with suits (that I’ve seen so far at least)

It seems to have been related to a memory leak bug which is particularly bad in Rostok. It's exacerbated by the amount of stuff in the stash, or so I have been told. This sounds about right as the bug (for me at least) was almost always triggered while using the stash but I did start to notice freezes directly after it.

So (possibly overstuffed) stash + Rostok = game freeze

I travelled to a town (other than Rostok) and sold as much out of my stash as I could. My inner loot-goblin was displeased. After that I just sort of stayed away from Rostok for all but the briefest visits and always quick-saved before and after using the stash there.

I've been seeing that hoarding things in your personal inventory leads to the issues. I'd just keep things you're for sure going to use.
