Weird audio bug - rapidly moving items around?
I have this weird glitch with the audio which only happens in the vicinity of STC Malachite. I've just slogged back with Duga, carrying 6 Corundam suits to sell.

When I got back there, I opened the trading window, and the looping audio started. I loaded an earlier save, and it wasn't happening, and when I got back to STC Malachite it started.

I quit, then reloaded the game, and it still happens.

Yes, that is what I have found. Thanks for confirming. I was going to try tonight if there was anything I could do to avoid it, and one thing was drop every single one of my items in a stash that is in a tunnel just to the South, both backpack as well as on my person. Such a weird bug, and trigger.

Just hit that today! Thought it was the new patch. And its not just audio. Its really a pain to compare, sell, move items, because something is causing you to lose selection. Just sounds like you're dropping items constantly. At least my Y axis is fixed, hehe=)

I think I just managed to fix it, but then couldn't complete the test as an Emission hit immediately after.

I went into STC Malachite, and confirmed I had the issue. I then stepped outside, and I threw everything I had on the floor. All backpack items, all weapons, all armour, and all artifiacts.

I went into my inventory, and I still had the issue. I then walked further outside the base until I found the exact distance where the problem would come, and go. I then noticed a glow on the ground, and the artifacts I had dropped were now at my feet several hundred meters away from where I left them!

I picked them all up, went into my inventory, and the issue had stopped. I moved further into the base to confirm, and it had stopped. That was when the emission hit, and I couldn't complete my tests, so I will need to repeat, and nail down just what needs to happen for the issue to go away.

Yes, it does seem tied to dropping the artifacts on the belt to the inventory, then to the floor, then picking them back up again. Unfortunately putting them back on the belt again makes the problem come back. :-(

It's not picking them up that stops it, its proximity to them on the floor! This is weird. If I stand next to the 5 artifacts on the ground the clicking stops. If I move away from them the clicking starts.

I think it fixes itself once you progress the quest, because it stopped after speaking to Colonel, etc.

Will try that, thanks.

I went down in the lift, had the little conversation, and at its end the clicking had stopped, at least so far.
