issue with spirit quest. at the boundary

Spirit quest needs to be fixed. the monolithian regenerative device was removed form my inventory without my ability to control when where and how. this prevents me from being able to heal him. why have it as an option in the first place if your not going to let me fulfill the requirements by having the game forcefully remove it from my inventory

I just noticed this during my 2nd playthrough. The item was weighing in my inventory XD
It was removed after you got captured by the Ward. I assume the Ward has it. Not sure where they put it though. The device is not in the chest when you get back your items.
