Controller stick drift again.

since the latest patch my game has stick drift to the right like a few patches ago. Any one else? using an xbox one controller.

yes, I tried a few controllers I have yesterday, and confirmed there's no drift issues with them. Work great with other games, but this one. Character constantly drifting to the right, makes it impossible to play having to fight to stay still. I hope they fix this, really want to play this game with a controller since I'm no good at using keyboard and mouse lol. I do have to note the ps5 controller seems to not have a problem, but I hate it, uncomfortable for me lol

I managed to fix it by reinstalling the game AND calibrating the controller in Windows 11.

This is a hardware problem due to ♥♥♥♥ analog sticks being used in new controllers. They stopped using Hall Effect sticks in controllers because it made them last too long to be profitable. It's better to make tech which breaks fast and are more ♥♥♥♥.

I recommend buying a joystick replacement stick from GuliKit. They make Hall effect sticks for almost every controller and the best part is that you can lower down your deadzone to almost nothing. They are one of the most accurate control sticks you can get on controllers. (I installed the steam Deck version of them in my thing cause they're great.)
