Whats the worst enemy to fight in your opinion?
For me its the poltergeist's every time. I'd much rather fight a controller or a pseudo-giant. If there is a stash protected by a poltergeist, 90% of the time I just ignore it unless it's a specialty named stash as it's just not worth it.

Edit
I like to thank everyone who has posted on this as in the last hour there has been alot of feed back which i enjoy, getting to hear about other players experiences and interactions, i think its very neat and I just wanted to extend thanks for sharing insight into your experiences.

"LowLevelFatalError"

You never see it coming and there is no defense against it

Hint for Burers:

You have a particular gun that deals moderate damage, but CANNOT be removed from your inventory...

OKAY THAT FIGHT WAS BRUTAL LMAO, god you're giving me flash backs that i didnt want lol
It's a brutal war on first playthrough, I died atleast 6 times. Playing Veteran on first playthrough drove me insane :crying_yeti:

Poltergeist are pretty fun to fight imo, because you have to change your position all the time and watch out for floating stuff. Bloodsuckers are also fun, since you have to search for them in the environment (and if you spot them and shoot them right as they approach, they'll stagger away instead of attacking).
The worst to fight for me is chimera, because the only way I found it to be possible is to sit on some boxes it cannot reach and shoot 1000 ammo in its head.
for me Chimeras are far and few between in comparsion to poltergeists, when you do find one yeah it can be rough but if you figure out the leap timing its almost like playing Donkey Kong honestly, jump out the way, dump a few expansive rounds into their head jump again. Not saying that loop is great but i unironically prefer that to the poltergeists that sit on top of pipes just going back and forth and theres no way to reach them.

lol I had a poltergeist chase me from the bottom south-west corner of the map for like an entire km, could not see it until it finally messed up and I was able to spot it. Started thinking the game was haunted and that this thing would just be following me around for the rest of it, was so relieved after finally ending it.

I don't care what anyone says, this game is awesome.

Just grenade spam them. They can´t pull grenades from your hands and 15 to 20 of this little hot potatoes should be enough to kill the Burer.

Tip for Controllers - get close to them and pepper them with buckshot. Then they will only try to get away and are not longer interested into attacking you. If you get too close they will whack you with their fists.

Faust was difficult until I found out where the last glowy thingy was hidden. ^^

Bloodsuckers, and the only reason why is that they are more common than blind dogs. Like seriously, got the spawntables switched?
Especially when they come in packs of 2 or 3 and you get animation locked in the knocked down animation and they just kill you before you can stand up

Yep, I have run into this issue since latest patch.

Yes - and he is not that bad. I found Faust to be quite bad because that fight became very laggy for me ;) Btw Ward ending pays off just for Korshunov - he is a well realized character actually.

Thanks, I eventually make it through but usually takes a few tries. Will use those tips next time.

Just run behind cover and hide from his view, he can't grab it away. Putting away the weapon before he can grab it has worked for me too, or just switching to the knife. Been meaning to check if they can grab away grenades or not.

Try to get the drop on them, 2 point-blank shotgun blasts to their face is enough to put em down. If they throw up that shield, just hide from their view until it wears off, you can hear it hum while it's on.

One time I got the drop on one by hiding behind a truck, he got stupid and tried to go around it to get a view on me. Except I was waiting right there at the corner with my Ram-2 pointed.

I think alot of the characters in the game are actually really well written, Scar i'd say is the least developed at my current time in the play through but that is also his whole gimmick too that he is very mysterious for no reason other than to be mysterious to the player. when given the choice at the SIRCAA facility i knew i was already locked into my freedom run so I wasn't sure how much that really effected the game but it seems like its a decent amount which im excited for on a 2nd run for sure.

the worst one is psydogs, since this one is too random, especially when you encounter it on an open terrain, sometimes you got lucky sometims you waste like 200 ammo just to kill one, the whack a mole potential is high so every encounter is random, sometimes i kill it in 2 minutes sometimes i need like 5 minutes just to kill the right one
