ngl i have the approximate ones im missing calculated. and i have been bouncing around all anomalies checking off like a to do list. ive been to electro, thermal, acid, gravitational. i even went back to zalyssia hoping lower level artifs would proc.
using this https://mapgenie.io/stalker-2-heart-of-chornobyl/maps/the-zone
all "random artifact" markers on this map are locations of farmable anomalous areas. so far ive ripped through swamps, zaton, lesser zone and im now working through garbage.
i hope they're "random" because 5 thunderberries before i see a single sparkler sounds insane. one would think that they aren't all random laterally across the board and their spawn rates would coincide with their listed "rarity"
legit not sure what im doing wrong. i tried you method to see if it would reload and change the artifact. was moonlight. reloaded was still moonlight. do i need to save certain ammnt away?
I have also given up on the "try to force the artifact to change" because it will stay the same if I saved 300m away from the anomaly area. And the game looooves to spawn multiple gunman ambushes the moment I get halfway into it to change a 1 minute dive into a longer distraction.
Damn lucky my 3rd acid artifact was the max rad absorber with my otherwise bad luck.
It can also be skewed even more by the type of anomaly you are in. acid has the smallest list at like, 13 or something. Probably to try and raise the odds of you getting at least SOME kind of rad absorber. While thermals have almost 30 different kinds, in spite of having the least impressive buffs or buff combos.
And thermals are the only one I remove my armor for on the last 5 meters for the actual collection (way too many gunman ambushes to pull off my gear all the time) because lava spouts loooooove having ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cross coverage where the anomaly shows up. "come on artifact... you exist. grab it. grab it it. GRAB IT MOTHER ♥♥♥♥♥♥" *four different lava spouts no-clip through terrain to seek you on the way out* (bleed resist does not seem to help much)
The real draw once you have rad absorbers are gravity for phsycial protection, the best possible carry capacity, and it still has some endurance buffs. Electro is basically for cash or praying for the best endurance booster.
Still. RNG is always ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. crossing several regions and getting nothing but common or "glitched out of bounds" or "still nothing here after two emission storms" is eye rolling, not challenging.
yeah i just found my 6th got damn thunderberry in garbage... im looking for a crest and a sparkler
I just got an urchin, the medium rad resist "from acid anomalies" right in the item description.... from the gravity + glass anomaly at daredevil.
I'll never say no to a good rad absorber even if I don't need one anymore (Feels better than a weak bleed or weak fire resist artifact). But come ooooon.
Reloading point electric meanwhile, constantly blueballs me with the same "can't get below 3-5 with hilka. bear is a complete green circle" by the big boulder and scrap spot with it never spawning.
I'm also not finding any common artifact anymore, I assume it has to do with the progress, as I'm in the endgame.... Maybe barkeepers sell them sometimes?
no havent found a solution yet. im taking a break anyway because i tried to play on Vet diff after a STLK difficulty playthrough and im not experiencing any emissions so... its kinda pointless until the next update comes out because as it stands the increased difficulty means nothing without the environmental existential threat. im not sure what the issue is. i tried everything in settings and nothing fixes the no sleep in zalissya and no emissions problem ive been having since my last playthrough starting in pripyat. my whole playthrough in pripyat was weather locked with no change and it was really disappointing putting it mildly. the #1 environmental reasons i like this solo FPS horror/survival game is because of the unique emission mechanic that differentiates itself from other survival/horror fps game
edit: lmao they just released an update. so well see how it goes. in college so school comes first but ill check it out Friday tbd
