Don't skip on Optimized Tweaks mod

After downloading the huge patch, started the game up without mods and immediately noticed the lowered fps and sloppy mouse movement despite the so called fixed. Downloaded the above mod again for instant improvement. This was in Rookie Village and with dlss + frame gen with 4070s at 1440p uw.

Base game: 91 fps + mouse lag
With mod (base version): 106 fps + reduced mouse lag

I haven't noticed any difference in how my mouse performs. I'm certainly wary of any mod while the game is actively being updated. Have fun though.. I'll pass for now at least. I'm not sure how that higher framerate is going to be noticeable though.

Do i have to put the *.pak-file directly into the content/pak-folder in the game or do i have to have to create a "~mods"-folder ? Thanks for reply.

It's explained in the main page.

INSTALLATION

1) Download one of the Main files you need

2) Extract it to your S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl\Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods
[for GamePass should be S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2- Heart of Chornobyl (Windows)\Content\Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods]

(create ~mods folder if you don't have it)

Dont omit the symbol '~' when creating the folder.
