For tyrant. Turns out that trick of dropping things on the floor at the start of the game works here too. Just fully expect to lose everything you dropped for yourself at the end of the fight. The gear man will take it all.
I decided the best way to deal with the prick was to drop a rocket launcher and 9 rounds for it, a few medkits, and some bandages. Tyrant had a BAD day.

You can just put everything on his body and carry it out of both rooms. Hopefully the updates didn't fix that.

heh, didnt think of that. scuse me while I reload a save and keep the armor. To sell or use, is up to how good they are.

Yeah i think you have to consistently land headshots and use the explosive gas tanks, depends on the weapon you get too.(i assume the dialogue before changes the weapon you use against him?)

Let him choose the weapons. He hands you a revolver. On normal difficulty I killed him with around 4-6 headshots, no explosives used. I basically just ran up on him and gunned him down.

Absolutely does. In order from top to bottom from his choices, revolver, ak, and a toz shotty. Meds are fewer the better the gun.

i love that everyone is having different experiences. im playing veteran, i used knife only, it takes a while but you run on him when hes reloading.

and i dont know what ppl talk about gear. you get everything back after the fight. and the amor he has is very bad and not worth to sell. later in the game you has become the elon musk of the zone anyway and you dont care about money anymore

True you get your own equipment back, but what OP is talking about is that it's possible to keep the other loot from the match - weapons, consumables, even the armor they give you for the match is normally taken back after you leave the room.

You can drop it on the floor near the exit door that locks after you step through, then all you have to do is cross the threshold and pick it all back up before letting the door close. It's also possible to put all of the loot on a body from the match and carry it out of both rooms, if the opponents were human.

Challenging but fun fight.
