Assault on Duga bug

Assault on Duga ward quest line still bugged after the update.

Faust doesn't spawn and the ward squad with me stuck on securing checkpoint and 2 waves of monolith spawn you kill them and nothing happen.

You have to take the checkpoint and first of all, kill these NPCs.

If you don't do it, the mission is blocked even if you start the second part of the mission, securing the checkpoint from the waves of enemies. Do not skip the third part, retreat from the checkpoint.

Yes, it sucks to have to use the console.

It's not the enemies. I tried everything. It's a game problem. They might have done something with the update.

YUP I have tried everything and not found a solution and the update said the they fix it and nothing happens.

Horrible mission it's bugged. Endless waves until you die wtf.

Good idea actually. I also thought its cumbersome but they actually fixed 1 story related bug less than 12h after I reported...(guess others did it too bit still)

Sometimes people automatically assume others will report the issues and thus do not report the issues themselves. If enough people assume others will do the reporting. Then nothing gets reported...

This is why I always never 'assume' others will fix issues. I report everything myself.

Had the same issue with the ward. Finally I managed to find a work-around. I think its one of these two things
1. If you sleep before speaking to the officer it might appear. Speak first to him, then sleep.
2. If you leave your team too much alone while advancing. Just stay put with the team.
