Is Spark supposed to attack me at Agroprom if I'm on their side?

When I finished the Agroprom mission for the drunken scientist whose name I forget, a Spark squad led by a Curly attacked me. This made sense in my Ward playthrough, but this time I was on their side. I do have the Ward badge from earlier, still, it felt off this time around. I've since then done multiple story missions for Spark and this has not been mentioned.

If you read the PDA on the dude that yells at you you'll find out the guy is literally just spiteful and jealous and Scar told him he was stupid for trying an assassination on Skif

I think those are Malachite not Spark that attack you. If there's a difference. Gotta say the faction stuff is a little confusing, and when I returned to Malachite I expected a hot reception after this but they were all cool. I understood that the camo soldiers that attack in the tunnels leaving Agroprom were STC Malachite forces. If that is same as Spark then yeah, I guess so.

Don't worry too much if you become hostile to Spark, you can still get the Diamond Exoskeleton.
