Audio bug with voices since 1.1
Hey i'm having an issue i can't seem to find anywhere else, basically since 1.1 whenever i'm close to an npc and most notably when im facing them during dialogue or something, their voice are doubled in some way. it's like im hearing the same audio twice at the same time, making it not only loud and out of place but it's happening with almost every npc since 1.1.
Is anyone having the same problem ? I've tried all the audio settings in game and the only thing that seemed to work was enabling "mono" but i can't play the game like this.
There's also no issue with my headset and i've restarted the game quite a lot since the update.
(I also had to restart a breand new game since the 1.1 because whenever i tried to launch my save it would crash, so idk if could be happening with just my save file)

Bro i found a fix ! you need to go to your windows settings (i have winfows 11) and go to
>system-sound-all sound devices-(your audio device)-properties. Once there, disable audio enhancement. I did it as the game was open and when talking to an npc again the effect was gone. Hope it helps you too.

I dont know why I got this bug all these hours later but this fix absolutely worked. Not sure what you lose from disabling that setting but seems fine so far.

voices happen when you get a psy attack are you sure its not that?
I had a different problem today, I visited an area of the game that I could hear someone asking for help, I didn`t find who was crying for help, but now, wherever I go, this sound keeps repeating it`s self crying for help!
Not sure if relevant to OP.

But sometimes after rain or a storm my audio starts cutting in and out. I have to reload a save to fix it. This only started happening in the Swamps zone and the zone north of it.

I have fixed this bug by simply starting a new game on an empty game slot and playing the intro naturally until skif hops the fence into the zone. Loading up an earlier save that u actually want to play will then have the audio bug fixed
