issue since launch, a roblox dev could do better.

Same here, spent an hour in Duga searching around found the Journalist stash, went to Malachite and did the Scar quest, fought the Ward off at Malachite, went form there to Rostok and my memory went to 32gig and the game hard locked....

Reloaded the game went into my inventory box (personal stash in Rostok) and hard locked again after a few minutes, full 32gig of ram usage.

Tried it again, the game froze again, but this time I let the game sit to see if it would generate a report and it froze Explorer and I couldn't even ctrl-alt-del, I had to reset my pc.

Seems to have something to do with the stash box?

Never had this issue before, spent hours in Rostok previous to the patches.

Seems to only crash for me in Rostok at the stash room. Guess I'll be avoiding Rostok for now

Rostok arena stash is what lights the fuse for me. I have a minute at best before my memory goes to 100% and the whole PC stops responding until reboot. My advice is do the arena quests later on

+1
Same happened to me last night, played for about an hour. Game started slowing down until it froze. Checking the task manager showed all 32GB consumed by stalker2 executable.
make sure you send a report to GSC on their support page,
detailing your system specs and what you were doing at the time.

check your graphics control panel to see if you can set allocation to performance, and cache to unlimited, unless you already are doing so.

Delete direct X12 cache and in windows temp files

Check you have the recent 556.14 driver update.

Number of other things to do.. but I'm hungry. So I'm taking a break.

Zero issues since launch.

128GB available but hover around 32GB consumed - stable.

What AV are you running?
