frametimes are terrible now
Using a 5800x3D with a 4090.

While my fps have increased quite a bit with the update, the game is borderline unplayable becaues the frametimes are very inconsistent and it just micro stutters alot - with and without framegen.

Anyone else having this issue?

Welcome to the Stalker 2 experience that the developers always promised.

I have the same machine as you and I think the game is running a little better, I think it's placebo but the most noticeable to me was loading and shader comp being way faster. But overall feel of the game is smoother, you might want to check your drivers or smth.

Except you are the dumb one here, he is not talking about FPS, which are high, but about frametimes, which is different measure. Frametime is how much time is needed to render each frame. If frametime is inconsistent, it can cause stutter or simply the picture would not be fluid even if your frames per second (or fps) are high.

Where do you get off calling them dumb. You could have left that part out and just explained what you think was wrong with his post? Get over yourself, and perhaps grow up a little.

5800X3D and 4070. I was having horrendous slowdown in some areas after the 1.1 patch.
Wild Island would drop from 120+ to 20fps depending on the direction I was facing.
Removed mods and cleared the Shader Cache so that it compiled shader cache again and all is good now.
Hopefully the mods will update and I can use them again because this game is stupidly unbalanced

Yeah, it's bad.

Upgrading from 16G RAM to 32G RAM solved the stuttering for me. I am getting no stuttering at all, and i have a 2080.

yea its the game op, the hardware the player has doesn't matter

It doesn't matter how much ram you have it will still leak after a while, all you are doing is delaying it

Maybe someone explaining me, why the game can be more or less playable for couple hours, an then, in 1 moment, it's just drop fps to 3-5, and not recovering at all?

nobody knows, several blamed it on framegen, but it can't be that either cause I seen players say it happens with it off too

the leak is worse is 1.1 too, I was able to keep it a bit more stable before that
